Precision and ordering of received_at

A transmission’s received_at is the time its audio clip ended.
  • It is accurate to within 20 seconds.
  • The order of transmissions by received_at is exact.
  • A transmission always has the same received_at in every response.
Each endpoint’s since and until select by its own timestamp, as the API returns it; see Time windows by endpoint. Times derived from transmissions, such as an event’s happened_at or a flight’s status_at, have the same 20-second accuracy.
