Selecting data - Enhanced Radar API

Pull endpoints that return records over time share these query parameters. since and until are required; the filters are optional and can be combined.

Name	Required	Description
`since`	yes	Start of the window. RFC 3339.
`until`	yes	End of the window: exclusive for transcripts, inclusive for event searches. Must be after `since` and at most 48 hours later.
`callsign`	no	ICAO callsign, e.g. `UAL406`. Case-insensitive.
`facility_id`	no	A `facility_id` from `GET /api/v0/facilities`. Selects records from that facility’s available channels.
`atc_channel_ids`	no	Comma-separated `atc_channel_id` values from `GET /api/v0/facilities`, e.g. `4,7,8`. Selects records from those channels. Every channel must have `is_available` set; otherwise the request returns `400`. With `facility_id`, only channels that are in the list and in the facility are used.
`airline_id`	no	An `airline_id` from `GET /api/v0/airlines`. Selects records attributed to that airline’s flights, matched by the callsign’s ICAO prefix.

Time windows by endpoint

Each endpoint compares since and until with its own timestamp, as the API returns it. See Times.

An event updated later

An event is returned when its first report or any of its updates happened inside the window, and it is always returned with all its updates. For example, an event first reported with happened_at 14:10 and updated with happened_at 14:45:

Window	Returned?
14:00 to 14:30	Yes, because the first report is inside.
14:30 to 15:00	Yes, because an update is inside. The top-level `happened_at` is still 14:10.
15:00 to 16:00	No.

Exceptions

GET /api/v0/pireps selects by area instead of these filters, and its window is at most 6 hours.
Live subscriptions on GET /api/v0/live take their own parameters, listed for each topic.

Coverage

Data is returned only for channels marked is_available in GET /api/v0/facilities. See Facilities and channels and Interpreting results.
