Streams one airport’s status. Each update’s data is a complete status with the same fields as Get airport status; replace the previous one with it. See Connect for the message format.

An airport facility_id from List facilities. TRACON and center facilities are refused.

Updates

The first update is the current status, sent right after subscribed. After that, a new status is sent:
  • Each time an observation at the airport is created or updated.
  • Each time operations and weather are recomputed: within 5 minutes when they change, and at least every 10 minutes otherwise.
Observations that age out of the 60-minute window do not cause an update; they are left out of the next one. Use generated_at to order updates and to ignore one older than a status you already have.

Billing

Each status sent is charged as one airport_status_update, at $1.50, including the first, which is charged when you subscribe. Subscribing again, including after a reconnect, charges a new first update. See Pricing and Billing.

Refusals

The subscription is refused when facility_id is missing or not a uuid, is not a covered facility, or is not an airport; when the charge for the first update is refused; or when the airport status could not be loaded; retry that last case later.
